Are you unemployed, living in North Belfast and interested in training?

The Ashton Centre’s Progress to Employment Project is running FREE courses to help unemployed people from North Belfast seeking employment. If you are interested contact us NOW as LIMITED places are available.

If you are interested and can answer YES to ALL of the questions below, then you may be suitable for the programme:

• Currently unemployed?
• Live in North Belfast?
• Can provide photographic ID, proof of address and pass security clearance?
• Over 18?
The Ashton Centre currently has vacancies on the following training courses:
Oil and Gas installation and maintenance training, with CSR card included (must have L2 certificate in plumbing)
Category D licence training (must have a clean valid UK driving licence (both parts); medical assessment will be required and Access NI.  24 year old +.
Hospitality training which includes World Host, Food Service, Food and Hygiene, Barista Certificates
SIA training (must provide photographic ID, proof of address and Access NI)
Health and Social Care Training

Procurement: Introduction to Procurement with Belfast City Council

This event focuses exclusively on our approach to purchasing goods and services, this workshop will give you: - an overview of our procurement process - information on how to find out about tender opportunities - a insight into how to use our procurement portal eSourcing. All events are free of charge but registration is essential. Places are limited and are allocated on a first come basis.

Walking in Your Community

Walking In Your Community is a new initiative launched by Outdoor Recreation NI offering Community Walk Leader Training that is used to encourage communities to keep active, improve mental wellbeing and unite members of the community by creating friendships among one another.  Further information can also be found at the Walking In Your Community homepage.

Community Walk leader Training is being offered to Community Groups and Leaders and it is being run in Belfast, Tuesday 12th November 2013 at Belfast Activity Centre in Barnett Demesne. The programme has been growing from strength to strength since it launched in August 2013 and there has been a high demand to run a course in the Belfast area.
