Belfast Hills Partnership Moonlight Walk


The Belfast Hills Partnership is getting bat detectors and torches at the ready for a moonlight bat walk at Ligoniel dams on Saturday 28 September from 10:45 pm to midnight. The study just off the Ligoniel Road in north Belfast, will run to midnight and attempt to identify different bat species. Bat detectors will pick up the frequency of the mammals. Admission is £2 and booking is essential. Don't forget to bring a torch!

The walk is not suitable for younger children. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are not permitted. Participants should wear sturdy shoes/boots and warm, waterproof clothing.
