Belfast Carers' Centre provides practical and emotional support to carers who live in or care for someone who lives in the geographical area of Belfast Health and Social Care Trust and potentially other parts of Northern Ireland.
Services include information; help with claiming benefits and accessing social and health services; listening and signposting; and social, learning and recreation activities.
Support is tailored to the needs of carers and is available through telephone contact; one-to-one meetings with Centre staff; short programmes; website, newsletter and mailing lists; and social and training opportunities. Current activities include a programme for male carers and a monthly relaxation session.
